This comprehensive project involved a diverse photography session for a modern dinnerware brand. The objective was to create a full suite of visuals suitable for various marketing channels: clean ecommerce shots, stylized studio imagery, and atmospheric lifestyle content for website and social media use.
Studio Product Photography: Mood & Minimalism

The studio phase focused on highlighting the contemporary design and elegant colors of the dinnerware sets. For artistic and social media use, the sets were styled minimally on matching color backdrops. This approach created a cohesive, branded aesthetic, allowing the subtle textures and forms of the dinnerware to stand out.

Additionally, some studio shots featured the dinnerware on a white background with fresh fruits and legumes (such as lemons, avocados, and pumpkins), introducing natural elements and a touch of organic warmth to the minimalist presentation.
Lifestyle Product Photography: Ambience & Application

To place the dinnerware in a more aspirational context, a lifestyle photoshoot was conducted on a beach. Capturing the modern dinnerware against the natural textures of sand ripples, under the varying light of midday and sunset, aimed to convey a sense of relaxed elegance and versatility.

These images are designed to inspire and show the product's aesthetic appeal in diverse settings, moving beyond traditional kitchen contexts.
Ecommerce Product Photography: Precision for Online Retail

For direct sales, ecommerce product photography was executed on a seamless white background. These shots are optimized for clarity, consistency, and detail, providing prospective buyers with an accurate representation of each dinnerware piece.
Post-Production & Innovation: Overcoming Prototype Shortages

A significant aspect of this project involved overcoming practical challenges. Due to prototype shortages, many of the ecommerce shots required advanced photo composition techniques.

I meticulously created realistic images of the complete dinnerware sets by digitally combining various elements and angles, ensuring that even with limited physical samples, the final visual assets were flawless and production-ready.
Tools & Workflow

Behind every photograph is a well-defined workflow and a set of professional tools. For this project, I used Adobe Lightroom Classic for photo culling and initial edits. The retouching and photo compositions were executed in Adobe Photoshop. To ensure every shot was precisely planned, I utilized Adobe XD for shotlist creation and final shot previews.
