This commercial photography project for Acayú focused on a series of photographs for their cultured vegan cheese. The goal was to visually communicate the brand's unique selling points: using traditional dairy fermentation methods and natural cultures to create unique plant-based cheeses with a distinct flavor profile.


Creative Direction
The visual narrative was built around a moody, high-contrast aesthetic. I used a dark minimalist setting to create a dramatic ambiance, allowing the rich textures and natural rinds of the cheese to become the central focus.

Execution
The lighting strategy was designed to be sculptural, using directional light to carve out shadows and highlights. This technique accentuates the artisanal craftsmanship behind each piece of cheese, from its unique texture to its distinctive aging process.

The contrast between the dark background and the light-toned cheese creates a sophisticated and impactful visual style that reflects the brand's innovative and authentic identity.
