Artisanal Cultured Vegan Cheese Photoshoot
This commercial photography project for Acayú focused on a series of photographs for their cultured vegan cheese. The goal was to visually communicate the brand's unique selling points: using traditional fermentation methods and natural cultures to create unique plant-based cheeses with a distinct flavor profile.
An Unconventional Narrative: Beauty in Contrast
We deliberately chose an unconventional setting for this photoshoot: an old, derelict house. This decision was central to our creative strategy, aiming to establish a powerful and thought-provoking contrast. The visual simplicity and crafted elegance of Acayú's vegan cheeses stand in stark juxtaposition to the dark, textured, and decaying environment of the abandoned space.
This dramatic setting allowed us to:
1. Emphasize Authenticity: The raw, unfiltered backdrop speaks to a return to natural processes and honest craftsmanship, echoing the ethos of cultured foods.
2. Highlight the Product: By stripping away typical food photography clichés, the cheeses become the undeniable focal point, their textures and forms made more prominent against the rough surroundings.
3. Create Intrigue: The unexpected location generates immediate visual interest, inviting viewers to look closer and engage with the story behind the product.
The result is a series of images that transcend conventional product photography, offering a rich, evocative story that challenges perceptions and underscores the unique artisanal quality of Acayú's vegan cheeses
