Ecommerce Product Photography
Glassware on a White Background
This personal project is a technical study in Ecommerce Product Photography, focusing on the unique challenges of shooting transparent objects. The primary subject is a wine glass, photographed on a pure white background.

The goal was to showcase my expertise in handling complex lighting and post-production for clients who need professional visuals of glassware and other reflective products.
Technical Approach: Light & Composition

The lighting for this shoot was meticulously controlled to capture the subtle shape and elegant contours of the wine glass. The use of a white background creates a clean, classic look that is essential for ecommerce, but it requires specific skills to prevent the product from becoming invisible.

A key part of the process was photo composition. Because photographing transparent objects can introduce unwanted reflections and distortions, I used a technique of combining multiple exposures. This allowed me to perfectly control the highlights and reflections, isolating the best elements of the glass—such as the delicate stem and the clean rim—to create a flawless final image. This method ensures that every detail is crisp and clear, providing a superior visual for online catalogs.
