This project is a studio photoshoot for a skincare product; a facial serum from Zahy, a natural, Portuguese, vegan, and biological cosmetic brand. The images were created for a range of commercial purposes, including ecommerce and marketing content. The visual concept focused on combining a human element with clean product-focused imagery.
Creative Direction: Skin-like Tones & Personal Connection
The primary visual was captured on a skin-colored background, a choice made to subtly link the product directly to its intended use and a sense of naturalness. I used a model to gently hold the product in their hands, creating an intimate, delicate, and personal connection between the consumer and the product. This approach moves beyond simple product shots to tell a story about self-care and authentic beauty.
To complement this lifestyle imagery and to fulfill ecommerce requirements, I also created a product photograph on a white background. For this shot, I used soft, diffused shadows to give the product shape and depth, while maintaining a clean and professional look that is ideal for online stores
