Chilled Craft Beer
Beverage Photography

This personal project is a deep dive into the specialized world of craft beer photography, building on advanced techniques learned in a dedicated workshop. My aim was to master the art of controlled condensation and intricate photo composition.

Dynamic Lighting & Glassware Detail
The project also features product shots on a white background, showcasing the Pale Ale poured into a glass. Here, the focus shifted to highlighting the beer itself: its vibrant color, the effervescence of the bubbles, and the clarity of the liquid.

Through precise lighting, I achieved a controlled reflection on the glass, sharp on one side, softly diffused on the other, adding depth and visual interest while keeping the product front and center. This technique demonstrates an understanding of how light interacts with transparent surfaces to create professional-grade imagery.

Technical Mastery: Condensation & Close-ups
The core of this project involved recreating realistic, yet controlled, condensation effects on beer bottles. I documented this process with before-and-after images of the condensation, demonstrating the meticulous hand-applied techniques. This section highlights the technical precision required to achieve authentic "chilled" looks without relying solely on natural conditions.
Further exploration included dramatic close-up shots on a black background. These images emphasize the bottle's texture, label details, and the subtle condensation, creating a moody and premium feel that draws the viewer in.
