This project showcases a studio photoshoot for a brand's exfoliating mitt. The goal was to create a set of clean, minimalist images that focus on the product's function and texture while using a model to provide context and a sense of scale. The visual narrative was designed for both e-commerce and social media, highlighting the product in a clear and compelling way.
The Focus: Product in Action
I used two different backgrounds, a clean white background and a vibrant pink background, to provide visual variety while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The model's role was to interact with the product naturally, demonstrating its use and fit without distracting from it. The compositions were kept simple to ensure the mitt remains the hero of every shot, emphasizing its shape and design.
Highlighting Texture & Detail
A key component of this project was capturing the intricate texture of the exfoliating mitt. Through a detailed close-up shot, I used controlled lighting to highlight the unique, woven material of the mitt, allowing the viewer to visually "feel" its surface. This focus on detail is essential for a product where texture directly relates to its function and quality.
